NZCKEAI NZ STICKFIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008
NZ Cacoy Doce Pares with the support of the NZCKEAI will host the first NZ Stickfighting Championships over the 25th and 26th October 2008 (Labour weekend). Competitors from around NZ including, Invercargill, Dunedin, Christchurch, Nelson, Levin, Wanganui, Auckland and Northland, along with international competitors and world champions from Australia, Indonesia and the USA will fight it out over the weekend.
On Saturday, 25th October competitors will attend the compulsory judging and referee workshop prior to the championship and have the option of attending the Grand Master Vincent Palumbo Stickfighting Techniques seminar to be held later in the afternoon.
The Championship will be held with a full day of fighting on Sunday, 26th October. Divisions will be confirmed at the close of early bird registrations on the 31st August 2008. The awards dinner and presentations will be made at the dinner venue on the Sunday evening following the Championships.

The rules and regulations for these championships will be in accordance with the Cacoy Doce Pares World Federation. It is up to each competitor and official to be fully versed with the rules PRIOR to the championship.
